Presentation Format
All topics are delivered as PowerPoint presentations of varying length (most approximately 1 hour). Questions are encouraged at the end of each presentation. If more than one topic has been arranged, a 10-15 break between topics will need to be included in the scheduling.
Handouts
Handouts for each presentation (except for Short-Talks) will be emailed to the organization’s contact person prior to the date of the presentation for duplication and distribution to the attendees. All handouts are protected by copyright.
Equipment
The hiring organization is responsible for: a projector (or notification that the speaker will need to provide a projector); a projector screen or appropriate, blank wall space; a small table for the presenter’s laptop, lecture materials, etc.; wireless Internet access, if needed; and, a bottle of water for the speaker. For larger groups, a microphone (lavalier preferred, if available) and audio system may be required.
Webinars
The option to schedule presentations via webinar and eliminate mileage fees is available to any societies or other organizations that have access to webinar or video conferencing applications.
Fees
Full-length (one hour) topics: $125 per topic (plus mileage, if in-person and outside of Pinellas County, FL)
[NOTE: The fee will be $150 per topic starting in January 2025.]
Short-Talks (20-30 min.): $75 per topic (plus mileage, if in-person and outside of Pinellas County. FL)
Seminars, multiple-topic presentations, and presentations where the distance requires an overnight stay: Please contact me for details.
For in-person presentations, all fees are due at the time of the presentation(s). Mailed payment checks for virtual presentations are due within two weeks after the presentation.
